Friday September 11 2015 – 14 teams from the Manitoba’s trucking Association (MTA) were all pulling for the title of winner for this year’s United Way Truck Pull, held at the Polo Park Shopping Centre south parking lot. This is the sixth year that Manitoba’s trucking industry has come out in support of this event. To participate, each team paid a $500 registration fee, with 100% of the proceeds going to the United Way. Each team in the truck pull consists of ten people with at least three team members being women.
Congratulations to the 2015 winning team Cummins Western Canada with a time of 12.42 seconds. Runners up in second place were Big Freight Systems with a time of 12.44 seconds and in third place was Bison Transport a time of 12.45 seconds.
