TruckingOn Saturday September 15, 2012 the largest fundraising convoy event in Canada was held right here in Manitoba.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run Convoy for Special Olympics presented by the Manitoba Trucking Association was a resounding success with 141 trucks registered and $65,000 raised for Special Olympics Manitoba.
This event not only supports a worthy cause, but it’s an excellent showcase for the trucking industry. This event is one more way for members to show how community minded and charitable the trucking industry is in Manitoba.
