The New Entrant Training Course provides increased awareness and understanding of fleet safety management and regulatory compliance responsibilities for those applying for a Safety Fitness Certificate in Manitoba. The program will instruct participants on how to establish a foundational understanding and promotion of a culture of fleet safety.

This first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for Adults, Children and Infants. This course, provided by St. John Ambulance, is suitable for workplace requirements. RPM’s Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C & AED training is a member benefit only. In order to register, your company must be registered with RPM and currently working towards, or have achieved SAFE Work Certification.

Every year, the MTA, through the generous support of the Associated Trades Division and Vehicle Maintenance Council, offers thousands of dollars in awards and scholarships to deserving individuals. Awards are offered in two categories: academic awards and apprenticeship awards. These awards are available only to employees or dependents of employees of Manitoba Trucking Association member companies.
