This first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for Adults, Children and Infants. This course, provided by St. John Ambulance, is suitable for workplace requirements. RPM’s Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C & AED training is a member benefit only. In order to register, your company must be registered with RPM and currently working towards, or have achieved SAFE Work Certification.

The New Entrant Training Course provides increased awareness and understanding of fleet safety management and regulatory compliance responsibilities for those applying for a Safety Fitness Certificate in Manitoba. The program will instruct participants on how to establish a foundational understanding and promotion of a culture of fleet safety.
If your company has 19 employees or fewer then you’re required to have a safety and health representative according to legislation. If your company has 20 or more employees then you’re required to have a safety and health committee.
Knowing how you and your team can take care of safety is an important and extensive topic, and figuring out where to begin can be overwhelming. It can also be confusing and frustrating to determine what tasks your team can handle in-house versus those that should be outsourced to a third-party company. This presentation will also focus on understanding the Canadian code requirements for third-party testing of hoists, lifting devices and racking.
This course will give the future trainer or seasoned trainer a better understanding of how adults learn, their roles as an instructor, how to create an effective lesson, and practice their skills with a practical test. The course is designed for trainers at all levels of your facility that want to further develop an understanding of the way their students learn.
