This half-day course is for those who need to refresh their understanding of the Canadian and US hours of service legislation, or for those who are new to the industry. This course is valuable for drivers, dispatchers, shippers, and customer service personnel to ensure that freight is being moved in a timely and safe manner. Participants will receive a copy of the most recent “Hours of Service for Commercial Drivers” handbook published by the CTA.

Course Delivery Method
This course is taught in-person at the MTA office or your place of business, or via distance learning.
When can I take this course?
Please consult the MTA’s training calendar for dates, or submit a request for a custom date. Please note that we require three paid attendees to offer a custom course.
Course starts at 9:00 and is usually completed by noon.

- Parking is free at our location and you will be required to park at the back of the building. Please use the back door for the duration of the course.

What is Hybrid training?
