The formal training requirements of a CTSC/CTSP provide the necessary foundation and technical knowledge that a specialist designation would require.

CTSC & CTSP candidates are required to fulfill course-by-course requirements in the following seven competencies:

  • Operational Duties
  • Incident Management
  • Occupational Health and Safety

Once you have completed all your training, you will have to submit all your certificates for proof to info@rpmsafety.ca.

Designation knowledge exams are designed to assess a candidate’s knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation capabilities within the competency domains. Each exam is closed book (completed without assistance, notes, or research materials available). All occurrences of the designation’s exams will be proctored to ensure that only the registered student may complete the exam, and that completion is achieved within prescribed conditions. Should a candidate be unsuccessful, they will be able to take the exam again but only for a maximum of two attempts.

Participants will be required to display their Manitoba Drivers License in person the day of the exam.
