ESDC is excited to announce the launch of their 2025 Labour Program Road Transportation Safety Blitz; a focused proactive initiative aimed at strengthening occupational health and safety (OHS) practices across the road transportation sector. Whether you’re a fleet manager, safety officer, or a trucking company operator, this is your opportunity to stay ahead of compliance requirements and protect your workforce.

What is the Labour Program Road Transportation Safety Blitz?

This initiative combines a free Information session and targeted inspections to help employers better understand their responsibilities under the ​​​Canada Labour Code​. ​Part II of the Canada Labour Code and its associated ​Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations relate to occupational health and safety and reflect the desire to reduce workplace injuries and illness.

Free Virtual Information Session

Join ESDC for a ​​​virtual MS Teams session​​​, where the Labour Program will walk you through the inspection process that will be taking place as part of this targeted initiative.
