The New Entrant Training Course provides increased awareness and understanding of fleet safety management and regulatory compliance responsibilities for those applying for a Safety Fitness Certificate in Manitoba. The program will instruct participants on how to establish a foundational understanding and promotion of a culture of fleet safety.
This course will teach you to effectively perform and complete a maintenance audit of your organization using the SAFE Work Certified Audit Tool. The course includes a practical component by performing a desktop audit to ensure your functional understanding of the Audit Tool.

If your company has 19 employees or fewer then you’re required to have a safety and health representative according to legislation. If your company has 20 or more employees then you’re required to have a safety and health committee.

About the Speaker: Nicole Smith, Partner at Pitblado Law, practices in Labour, Employment, and Human Rights Law. She advises employers on workplace policies, respectful workplace issues, and legal compliance. Nicole also serves as a Board Member for the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce and volunteers with local access-to-justice organizations.
This first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for Adults, Children and Infants. This course, provided by St. John Ambulance, is suitable for workplace requirements. RPM’s Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C & AED training is a member benefit only. In order to register, your company must be registered with RPM and currently working towards, or have achieved SAFE Work Certification.
