This 2 ½ day TDG & Train the Trainer course provides employees with the skills, techniques, and knowledge to teach the Transporting Dangerous Goods Course in-house. Adult education and learning techniques are discussed, as are the TDG Regulations. Participants will receive the most recent edition of “Transporting Dangerous Goods By Truck” handbook published by the CTA, as well as sample materials for the development of their own presentations.
Course starts at 9:00 am each day, and is held at the MTA office (25 Bunting Street).
Day 1 – TDG Instructor
This one-day course is required for anyone interested in teaching TDG in-house to drivers and employees.
Day 2 & 3 – Facilitator Skills (Train the Trainer)
This one and a half day course is required for TDG instructor training.
