COVID-19 Protocols
When Attending In-Person RPM and MTA Training

What we are doing:

Classroom set-up has marked training spaces for each participant which are a minimum of two metres or six feet apart to accommodate physical distancing during classroom activity.

Classroom cleaning policies and procedures are in place for all equipment utilized in the classroom.

Facility cleaning procedures have been adjusted to accommodate for additional COVID- 19 cleaning needs including for all common areas in the facility during/after use and during business hours(beyond regularly scheduled end-of-day cleaning).

What we are asking you to do:

All visitors to the RPM office must be fully vaccinated (at least two doses) for COVID-19. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all; this vaccine policy reflects that commitment. Anyone entering the facility solely for the purpose of picking up or delivering ordered items must wear a mask prior to entry but will not be required to provide proof of vaccination; however, their access and movement within the facility will be limited.  For those coming to our offices for training, we will also continue using the provincial COVID-19 screening questionnaire.

Masks are required to be worn at all times when in the building, even at desks in the classroom.

Parking is free at our location and you will be required to park at the back of the building. Please use the back door for the duration of the course to control the flow of traffic.

Please use the hand sanitizer provided upon entry of the building.

Proper hygiene can help reduce the risk of infection or spreading infection to others. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using restrooms and when touching food.  At a minimum, hand hygiene will be performed at the following times by all participants and instructors:

  • beginning and end of class,
  • before and after meals and breaks,
  • before and after skill practice sessions (when wearing gloves, hand hygiene should be performed before putting on gloves and after removing them)

Use alcohol-based (at least 70% alcohol) hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available

COVID-19 RESOURCES

There are a lot of different resources available for Manitobans as we work to combat COVID-19 and keep the economy safely moving. You may want to review these blog posts outlining various programs, resources, and other key issues we have drawn attention to recently:

We have also compiled a list of resources that are currently available in Manitoba
