Workplace Safety and Health Committee and Worker Safety and Health Representative

Duration: 8 hours (Lunch Provided)

If your company has 19 employees or fewer then you’re required to have a safety and health representative according to legislation. Safety and health representatives must participate and be trained in their responsibilities to be effective.

If your company has 20 or more employees then you’re required to have a safety and health committee. Safety and health committee members are entitled to participate in training related to their responsibilities in this role.

This course meets the training requirements as well as the SAFE Work Certified Training standards criteria.

Learning Objectives:

Completion of this training will apply towards credit as per certification requirements.
Effective discharge of representative or member’s responsibilities ensuring effective use of resources on safety activities.
Increase worker participation ensuring workers participate in safety and health activities including corrective action and problem solving activities.

What is hybrid training?

All RPM certificate of recognition courses need a minimum of three people to run a course. If there are not enough registrations the course will be cancelled.
