WCB Compliance for the Trucking Industry
The Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) is committed to protecting the integrity of the workers compensation system. During this lunch and learn, you will be provided with an overview of WCB compliance issues in the trucking industry. Topics will include failure to report workplace injuries, claim suppression and misclassification of workers. The presentation will review employers’ responsibilities and how to report suspected non-compliance to the WCB.

WCB Assessment Services for the Trucking Industry
This webinar covers WCB coverage in Manitoba with a focus on the transportation industry. Topics include
- who qualifies for WCB,
- how businesses can register,
- how to update and maintain an employer account to ensure it remains in good standing.

Return to Work in the Trucking Industry
In this lunch and learn, we will discuss the reasons for having a return to work program and provide industry specific statistics to support those reasons. Participants will learn about the seven principles identified by The Institute of Work and Health which are key to having a successful return to work program and how to incorporate them in return to work planning in order to ensure a program supports both workers and employers in mitigating the impact of workplace injuries.
