Executive Director: Terry Shaw
Terry oversees the planning and priorities of the Association. Terry is the lead for political liaison, and relations with all levels of government, in both administrative and legislative functions. He is also the lead on media relations and, along with members of the Executive, acts as a spokesperson for the industry.
Terry is a member of a variety of MTA committees, including the Executive and Board of Directors, He also represents the MTA with his involvement with Trucking HR Canada , the Manitoba Employers Council, and the Winnipeg and Manitoba Chambers of Commerce. He is also a contributing editor to the Western Canada Highway News.
Business Operations Manager: Aaron Dolyniuk
Aaron is responsible for some of the day-to-day operations of the MTA (such as budgets, HR, and
building maintenance), as well as spending a significant portion of his time on developing policies (including writing and submitting position papers) on behalf of the MTA’s Board of Directors.
Accounting / Office Administrator: Vanda Curden-Ogbonnaya
Vanda is currently responsible for all of the office accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and membership renewals. She also manages the sales and distribution of all product sales including J.J. Keller products for the transportation industry. Vanda also manages the administrative duties of the Association, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the Office. She is an excellent multitasker and provides administrative support to all areas of the Association.
MPI Entry Level Professional Truck Driver Training Program Administrator: Danielle Ruttan
Danielle coordinates the day-to-day operations of the MPI Entry Level Professional Truck Driver Training Program. Danielle is responsible for promoting, recruiting and administering the program’s operational components. She also works closely with all our partners to ensure up-to-date program information is disseminated on an ongoing basis.
Senior Business Development Manager: Don Stewart
Don is the MTA's primary contact on items relating to membership services, primarily focused on growth and retention. Through these initiatives, our membership will grow together and be a stronger voice for a safe and healthy industry in Manitoba.
Don is also responsible for other association revenues and events, which includes member communications. Don provides support on MTA advocacy work and other external communications through research and writing activities.
