2025 Manitoba Professional Truck Driving Championship!
With a driving track, written test, and pre-trip inspection, this event puts competitors through the paces and keeps them on their toes!

Day Overview:
7:00 – Driver Registration
7:45 – Track Walk-through (drivers)
~8:00 – Competition begins
6:00 – Driver Awards Banquet reception begins.

Provincial Championships Eligibility Rules
- You must be legally licensed to operate the class of vehicle for the event in which you are competing;
- You must compete in the jurisdiction in which your license was issued; exemption: Saskatchewan drivers can compete in Manitoba as per Manitoba’s discretion.
- During the 12 months preceding the date of the competition, you must:
• Not have been employed by more than 2 employers;
• Must have been employed within the trucking industry.
• Not have had any preventable collisions. The definition of “preventable” in the Canada Safety Council Professional Driver’s Improvement Course Manual will apply; and,
• Not have had your license suspended. - During the 5 years preceding the competition, you must not have had any Criminal Code driving convictions registered against you;
- You may participate in only one Provincial Driving Championships in any year, and you may compete in only one class of competition;
- A driver competing in the Turn Pike category must be currently LCV certified and the MTA & STA (respectively) must have record of their certification to be eligible to compete.
- The Provincial or Regional Professional Driving Championship Committee reserves the right to check all applications and disqualify any competitor who does not meet the above requirements, or who is deemed to be guilty of conduct detrimental to the Championship or to the trucking industry.
- If a judge at any time considers a competitor is performing a dangerous act which could cause injury or damage to others or the equipment, that competitor may lose all points for that obstacle or may be disqualified.
- A competitor can volunteer to be a judge, but if that competitor is involved in the set up of the track they cannot compete that year.
Advance registration required. Registration opens March 17, 2025 and closes April 25, 2025.
Registration Fees (includes two tickets to the Driver Awards Banquet) :
MTA member company: $300 (plus GST)
Non-member company: $350 (plus GST)
Driver Awards Banquet:
$150/person
