A workplace must have a process to report workplace related injuries, illnesses and dangerous occurrences. Upon receipt of these reports, a process must also be in place to ensure investigations are completed to prevent re-occurrence.

A proactive approach to the mitigation of workplace hazards greatly increases the chance of less severe and lower rates of injury. This course will provide students with the practical knowledge necessary to identify, assess and control the hazardous elements of their workplace so they can do their part in preventing dangerous incidents.

This Canadian Trucking Alliance course for experienced professional drivers is a professional development course in Manitoba. This course meets the regulatory requirements for LCV drivers in Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan, as well. This course consists of four hours in the classroom and a three hour road test**. There is a manual supplied by the MTA that participants can keep upon completion of the LCV course.
The New Entrant Training Course provides increased awareness and understanding of fleet safety management and regulatory compliance responsibilities for those applying for a Safety Fitness Certificate in Manitoba. The program will instruct participants on how to establish a foundational understanding and promotion of a culture of fleet safety.
If your company has 20 or more employees then you’re required to have a safety and health committee. Safety and health committee members are entitled to participate in training related to their responsibilities in this role. This course meets those requirements as well as the SAFE Work Certified Training standards criteria.
This course is designed to teach Class 1 Instructor candidates on how to teach the Class 1 Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT) Curriculum developed by Manitoba Public Insurance. It also gives students training on classroom facilitation as well as coaching in cab.
