RPM Open House – 06/02/2022
June 2, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 1:45 pmFree
Join us on Thursday, June 2nd to learn more about how RPM: Trucking Industry Safety can help your trucking company!
RPM is the Certifying Partner with SAFE Work Manitoba for the trucking industry. The RPM Trucking Industry Safety Program was established in 2015 to provide workplace health and safety services to the trucking industry in Manitoba. The program is hosted by the Manitoba Trucking Association, and funded by a levy paid by the industry and administered by SAFE Work Manitoba.
If you are in Manitoba WCB rate codes 50102, 50109, or 50111, mark your calendars and join us at 25 Bunting Street in Winnipeg on June 2!
Make sure you leave your business card for a chance to win an RPM prize pack, including a gym bag, hoody, golf balls, steak knives, hibachi-style travel barbecue, travel mug and $100 gift card to Miller Meats!
Join us at either 10:30 or 1:30 for demonstrations of Journey to Safety, the new RPM safety demonstration trailer. Stay for lunch (served between 11:00 and 1:00), and meet with our team of safety advisors.
Please register using the links below so we know how many to anticipate at each demonstration, as well as to help us ordering food. Vegetarian options available.
What can you tell me about the Journey to Safety demonstration trailer?
The RPM Journey to Safety Demonstration Trailer is an exciting and eye-opening experience that RPM is delighted to bring to your workplace!
The workplace safety demonstrations consist of lifelike scenarios, including hand safety, safe lifting, head safety, eye safety, and working from heights: travel restraint.
These demonstrations get people talking about safety and leave a long-lasting impression about the risks people take. Our goal while visiting your workplace is to enlighten people and reinforce that working safely is the only way to work.
We will also be collecting donations for Workers of Tomorrow Safety Centre Inc., a not-for-profit registered charity organization. They provide (free!) presentations to students across Manitoba, designed to educate on how new and young workers can be SAFE on the job – since 1997 we’ve delivered more than 55,000 workplace safety presentations to young and vulnerable workers.
